Past Attendee Case Study
Dr Jessica Paterson
Patient: 4-year-old Whippet
During the examination, we observed a nasty squamous cell carcinoma along with significant solar damage. I will be monitoring her for any future lesions.
Whippets generally have minimal skin movement over their chest, making procedures more challenging. The flap repair appeared narrower at the base than anticipated, but I am pleased with the healing progress. The skills I gained from the grafts, flaps, and complex wounds workshop have been invaluable in handling such cases in the clinic.
They really do not have a lot of skin movement over that chest!
Nasty SCC and much more solar damage, so will be watching future lesions closely

How's that for closure!
Join our upcoming Grafts, Flaps & Complex Wounds Workshop to learn how to plan, evaluate, and transpose the flap you need to fix the next wound in your clinic.
Whether your next patient requires an axial subdermal plexus flap, a random subdermal plexus flap, or even a skin graft, this workshop will prepare you.
