Terms and Conditions

This legally binding agreement between you and McBent Pty Ltd, trading as VetPrac (ABN 68 637 090 192), outlines the terms and conditions under which VetPrac will provide the Training Course.

1. Formation
By registering for a Training Course, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (Agreement).

2. Training Course

(a) VetPrac will announce upcoming Training Courses on its Website, but reserves the right to:
- (i) Cancel, postpone, modify, or limit any aspect of the Training Course at any time.
- (ii) Refuse your attendance at the Training Course for any reason.
(b) Places in the Training Courses are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each course requires a minimum attendance of 26 attendees and accommodates a maximum of 30-32 attendees, depending on the workshop/course.
(c) VetPrac is not responsible for failing to fulfil any obligations due to events beyond its control. This includes service or transport disruptions, the death or illness of a key person, natural disasters, or government orders.

3. Fees

(a) All Fees must be paid in full upon registration unless opted into an agreed payment plan for a VetPrac training course.
(b) If the payment plan is terminated or payment is unsuccessful after three attempts, your position at the workshop will be relinquished.
(c) Unless specified otherwise, the Fees are inclusive of GST.
(d) Transferring or changing registrations from one Training Course to another will incur a $50 administration fee.

4. Cancellations

(a) Fees are refundable for cancellations made in writing to VetPrac at least 45 days before the commencement of the Training Course.
(b) Bank transaction fees associated with third party payment services will not be refunded for cancellations made by the registrant. This fee applies only to credit card payments, not to direct deposits or cheque payments.
(c) Cancellations made in writing within 45 days of the commencement date of the Training Course will incur a 50% administrative fee.
(d) Cancellations made in writing within 7 days of the commencement date of the Training Course are non-refundable.
(e) If you fail to attend the Training Course, VetPrac will not refund the Fees, issue a credit note, or transfer you to another Training Course.
(f) If VetPrac cancels the Training Course for any reason, it will refund you the fees in full. VetPrac will not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by you.
(g) You may substitute your place in a Training Course with another attendee at any time, provided you:
- (i) Provide written authorisation, and
- (ii) Supply the substitute attendee’s name and contact details to VetPrac before the course begins.

5. Intellectual Property

(a) All intellectual property rights in the Training Materials belong to VetPrac or a third party. These rights will not be transferred to you.
(b) Training Materials provided and presented during the Training Course are for your sole use and at your own risk.
(c) The Training Materials and VetPrac trademarks cannot be copied, reproduced, or distributed.

6. Liability

VetPrac’s total liability in connection with this Agreement, whether based on warranty, contract, law or negligence, will not exceed the Fees paid by you to VetPrac under this Agreement.

7. Privacy

(a) VetPrac will only share your personal details with training partners, speakers, or tutors involved in the Training Course to facilitate the course and/or provide ongoing support.
(b) The information collected during the registration process, including your name, email address and contact number, is used to process your registration and create and maintain attendee records. For any enquiries, please contact VetPrac.
(c) By subscribing, you agree to receive emails from VetPrac about upcoming training courses. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided at the bottom of each email.

8. General

(a) This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the parties concerning its subject matter and supersedes all prior communications.
(b) This Agreement cannot be amended or varied except in writing and signed by the parties.
(d) If any term or provision of this Agreement is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, it will be severed from this Agreement, and the remaining terms and conditions remain unaffected.
(e) Photos and videos may be taken during the Training Course for use on VetPrac’s social media and marketing. If you prefer not to be included, please contact us directly.

9. Definitions

Fee: The fee for the Training Courses, as specified on the Website.

GST: Goods and Services Tax as defined by the relevant Australian legislation.

Registration: The process of registering for a Training Course, which can be completed via the website or email.

Training Course: The veterinary related training courses organised by VetPrac or its representatives.

Training Materials: Materials provided during the Training Course, including equipment, handouts, and notes.

This payment plan is made up of 3 equal payments of $1205. These payments are automatically deducted every month for 3 months, until the final instalment is made.

Our Head & Neck Surgical Oncology workshop is a game-changer CPD selection for general practitioners focusing on fundamental surgical resections and reconstructions for canine and feline oncology cases.

These cases are extremely common, and seen routinely in clinical practice. Participants will gain fundamental and advanced skills that can be applied right away to expand and improve the options they offer clients.

Expect to get to grips with axial and advancement flaps, nasal planectomy and eyelid and lip resection. Follow this with the approach to the ventral neck including thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy and lymph node extirpation.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Develop a systematic approach to biopsy, staging and surgical margin selection for head and neck tumours.
Plan and perform advanced oral and facial oncologic procedures, including mandibulectomy, maxillectomy, nasal planectomy, and eyelid and lip resection.
Apply reconstructive techniques, including axial and advancement flaps, using relevant anatomical landmarks.
Perform thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy and cervical lymph node extirpation using appropriate ventral neck approaches.
Develop comprehensive peri-operative care plans, including analgesia and management of post-operative complications.
Evaluate tumour prognosis and integrate adjuvant therapies through evidence-based decision-making and real-life clinical cases.

This is a wet-lab rich experience. Look forward to performing basic mandibulectomy and maxillectomy techniques in one of many relevant and competency-driven hands-on practicals.

You don’t need to have carried out these procedures already to attend – the whole aim is to get you doing them!
