WHAT'S INCLUDED:
When we say “behaviour in the clinic”, we’re not talking about the staff.
This online course considers what we know about small animal behaviour and how we can help patients live their best lives. If you’re a registered veterinarian with a keen interest in patient wellbeing, you’ll find this course to be a rewarding blend of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment and pharmacology. If you’re a veterinary nurse or technician, you’re about to see exactly where your skills apply to behavioural management in veterinary practice. .

Have you fallen into the “chicken trap”?
When we say “nutrition”, we’re not talking about the litres of energy drinks consumed by the staff. This on demand course considers what we know about small animal nutrition, and how we can help patients live their best lives through evidence-based feeding choices. If you’re a veterinary nurse or technician with a keen interest in patient wellbeing, you’ll find this course to be rewarding because food really matters! In this course, you’ll discover how your skills apply to nutritional management in veterinary practice, and how you can directly impact your patients through giving great nutritional recommendations.
This is your invitation to a wealth of information.
It’s a great place to start if you’re new to small animal anaesthesia, and there is plenty of scope for experienced nurses and technicians to stretch their knowledge and reach for more complex solutions. Margie will share how she plans, monitors, and pivots her approach to anaesthesia in practice.

Thank you for this very informative presentation on Small Animal Nutrition Kim.
This course had a lot to offer, from the perspective of nutrition for hospitalised patients, and through the various life stages of our patients. The discussion on how to calculate the nutritional requirements for various life stages and disease processes was great (I love maths).
The discussion on navigating the Pet Food Industry was an eye opener for an older nurse such as myself. Hopefully I'm not influenced by social media, so I hadn't realised what a big role it had to play in client's decision making.
I can strongly recommend this course to anyone interested in nutrition, whether they are new to the veterinary industry, or they just want to update their knowledge base. As a nurse with more than 40 years experience my knowledge base has improved a lot after attending this course.

The Principles & Practice of Anaesthesia & Pain Management was a wonderful and engaging course from Dr Margie McEwen. I appreciated all the tips she's given out throughout the course.
The PDF documents for each module were also brilliantly detailed and definitely something I'd go back to regularly for reference.
Staff are very helpful as well and also offered payment plans. I look forward to doing more courses with VetPrac in the future!

I have completed the Principles & Practice of Anaesthesia & Pain Management and have gained a lot of new knowledge that I can take back to my own clinic and put into practice.
I have definitely gained some more confidence towards the anaesthetics part of my nursing.
