Dr Alex Harrison is a profoundly deaf veterinarian, graduating from Murdoch University in 2000. With experience in academia, corporate small animal practice, and as a practice owner in Adelaide, Alex now focuses on reshaping the profession he once felt he had to shrink himself to fit. He is the founder of Vetquity, a consultancy advancing accessibility, psychological safety, and systemic inclusion in veterinary workplaces, and also serves on the board of The Veterinary Kaleidoscope. Alex is passionate about inclusive design, assistive tech, and building a veterinary future where everyone belongs.
